Hike at Victoria’s best bushwalking destination

The Grampians is Victoria’s most renowned bushwalking destination.

With a broad range of walks, from short distance and wheel accessible lookouts, to longer day hikes and even overnight hiking opportunities.

The Grampians has a wide range of walking opportunities from easy family walks to full day hikes. If you only have one day try and see Boroka Lookout, Reeds Lookout + the Balconies and MacKenzie Falls. The Pinnacle is everyones favourite.

Boroka Lookout

With spectacular views over Halls Gap and towards Stawell, Boroka Lookout is an easily accessible destination for everyone.

Distance: 150m return

Reeds Lookout & the Balconies

This spectacular lookout provides grand views of the jagged Serra Range, over the Victoria Valley to the Victoria Range.

A short easy 2km walk from the carpark takes you to the famous Balconies lookout.

MacKenzie Falls

This majestic waterfall flows all year round.

MacKenzie Falls was known to the Jardwadjali people as “Migunang Wirab”, meaning “Blackfish floating on top of water”.

The main walk to the base of the falls is steep with many stairs. There are also two flat, easy walks that give your views of the waterfalls along the MacKenzie River.

The Pinnacle

Perched high above the Wonderland Range is the Pinnacle. Not only is the destination amazing, the attractions along the way including the Grand Canyon, Cool Chamber and Silent Street will stay in the memories of your children forever.

Distance: 4.2km return from the Wonderland Car park.
