Explore the roads less travelled

The Pomonal + Lake Fyans area is a great base to start a wide range of self guided drives through the Grampians region. Visit a wide range of lookouts, wineries as well as the historic goldfields in nearby Stawell. For more information of self guided tours visit www.visitgrampians.com.au.

The drive from Halls Gap to Dunkeld is spectacular, with mountain ranges on both sides, the jagged mountains of the Serra Range are breathtaking.

Four-wheel driving (4×4)

If you prefer to explore the roads less travelled, there is a large network of roads and tracks that take you to some really special destinations.

Area’s of the park that should only be attempted by four-wheel drive include the Victoria Range and Wallaby Rocks

Some of the tracks in the Grampians are seasonally closed through the wetter months. An updated list of road and track conditions and closures can be found on the Parks Victoria website .
